Speech Finals on Moday

I was blown away this week with the quality of the speeches that Room 10 presented. We had a huge variety of topics from pet goldfish to Golden Bay to a speech about our legendary caretaker, Mr Carter.
It was really hard making a decision about who would go through to represent us at the school finals on Monday but a choice had to be made and here are the results.


Year 5 - Isobella - Litter

and 1st place went to ....

Edan!!!!!! His speech was about Rotten Rulers of the past and of today. It was awesome!

I hope all the finalists are practising hard over the weekend and will be ready for Monday. We start at 9:15am, families are most welcome to come and watch.

Masks and Speeches

Another super busy week in Room 10. On Tuesday we split with Room 2 to make our masks for the Mask Parade on the last day of term. The theme this year is 'playful pacific' and both the boys and girls designs are definitely colourful and playful. The boys designs are double sided! Fancy!

Ski Trip!!!!

Well, the wait was worth it and we had the 'day of the season!!!' The drive up was amazing seeing all the snow down very low. It looked like a winter wonderland and you almost wanted to start singing Christmas carols!
There was hardly a cloud in the sky and the snow was like icing sugar, very powdery.

Ski Trip is ON!!!!!!

Rainbow is OPEN! 
We are all go for a great day in the snow.
It’s going to be really cold so make sure you’ve got EVERYTHING on the equipment list.
